Aiming to understand the field of customer satisfaction under the electronic commerce context in recent years, a sample of 565 papers on e-commerce customer satisfaction included in Web of Science ( SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI) published during 1993-2013 were analyzed with CiteSpaceⅡsoftware to reveal the research focuses and frontiers of the field. The results show that the theories of expectancy-disconfirmation, planned behavior, and Technology Acceptance Model are the basic theoretical foundation; structural equation modeling is the primary empirical research method; the research focuses would include model, service quality, perceived value, trust and loyalty; the frontiers and trends would be intelligent technology supporting system, service failure recovery, customer feedback utility, service quality and customer loyalty across e-commerce service and production transaction etc

In this study, a co-pigmentation complex formed by ionic complexation of blueberry anthocyanins (BA) with chondroitin sulfate (CS) was bound to pullulan (PU) to prepare a steady-state BA-CS-PU system by a combination of co-pigmentation and encapsulation technology. The co-pigmentation and stabilizing effects of CS on BA were evaluated by ultraviolet-visible (UV-visible) spectroscopy and color parameters. The structure of BA-CS-PU was characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and the mechanism of co-pigmentation and encapsulation was explained. The processing and digestive stability of the steady-state system were evaluated under simulated heat, acid-base strength, co-existence with vitamin C (VC) and in vitro digestion conditions. The results showed that the addition of CS caused a red shift in the UV spectrum and an increase in absorbance, and enhanced the redness, thereby resulting in co-pigmentation effect, which was related to the ionic complexation between the sulfate group of CS and the flavylium ion of BA. The encapsulation effect of PU could be achieved through hydrogen bonding. In addition, co-pigmentation with CS and encapsulation with PU significantly improved the retention rate and a value of BA under heat, acid-base strength and VC co-existence conditions, and also enhanced the gastrointestinal digestive stability, with an 8.63% increase in retention rate. The results of this study provide a basis for in-depth processing of anthocyanin-rich berries

Heterologous expression of a Glyoxalase I gene from sugarcane confers tolerance to several environmental stresses in bacteria

Glyoxalase I belongs to the glyoxalase system that detoxifies methylglyoxal (MG), a cytotoxic by-product produced mainly from triose phosphates. The concentration of MG increases rapidly under stress conditions. In this study, a novel glyoxalase I gene, designated as SoGloI was identified from sugarcane. SoGloI had a size of 1,091 bp with one open reading frame (ORF) of 885 bp encoding a protein of 294 amino acids. SoGloI was predicted as a Ni2+-dependent GLOI protein with two typical glyoxalase domains at positions 28–149 and 159–283, respectively. SoGloI was cloned into an expression plasmid vector, and the Trx-His-S-tag SoGloI protein produced in Escherichia coli was about 51 kDa. The recombinant E. coli cells expressing SoGloI compared to the control grew faster and tolerated higher concentrations of NaCl, CuCl2, CdCl2, or ZnSO4. SoGloI ubiquitously expressed in various sugarcane tissues. The expression was up-regulated under the treatments of NaCl, CuCl2, CdCl2, ZnSO4 and abscisic acid (ABA), or under simulated biotic stress conditions upon exposure to salicylic acid (SA) and methyl jasmonate (MeJA). SoGloI activity steadily increased when sugarcane was subjected to NaCl, CuCl2, CdCl2, or ZnSO4 treatments. Sub-cellular observations indicated that the SoGloI protein was located in both cytosol and nucleus. These results suggest that the SoGloI gene may play an important role in sugarcane’s response to various biotic and abiotic stresses

The Impacts of E-service Quality on Customers\u27 Repurchase Intention in Platform Online Retailing: An Empirical Investigation

Online retailing has been an important channel or business model for many firms in China. How to win, satisfy and retain customers has become the urgent practical problem to solve in front of the online retailers. Based on the theory of reasoned action, an empirical study of factors influencing consumers’ repurchase is conducted by using the questionnaire survey method. The results indicate that in the setting of platform online retail, consumer repurchase intention is significantly affected by consumer satisfaction, consumer satisfaction is positively and significantly affected by product quality and price, but not by website design, information quality, order fulfillment, and consumer service quality. So platform online retailers should reasonably allocate marketing resources accordingly, and pay attention to improve customer satisfaction by controlling product quality and enhance price advantage of product

    Pendulum Energy Harvesters: A Review

    No full text
In recent years, energy harvesters using pendulum systems have often been applied in ultra-low-frequency environments, such as ocean waves, human motion, and structural vibration. To illustrate the research progress in pendulum-type energy harvesting, a comprehensive review is provided in the present study. Specifically, single- and double-pendulum energy harvesters based on different energy-conversion mechanisms are separately grouped. In addition, different improvement techniques and design schemes used in studies on pendulum energy harvesters are summarized. Theoretical studies have explored the dynamic characteristics of single and double pendulums. Various key aspects, including the fundamental mechanisms, optimization methods, core structures, and applications, to improve the performance of single- and double-pendulum energy harvesters are discussed. Finally, several potential research directions and applications are proposed

Selective and Efficient Oxidation of Benzylic Alcohols to Benzaldehydes and Methyl Benzoates by Dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin

A selective and efficient method of oxidizing benzyl alcohols to benzaldehydes and methyl benzoates by using 1,3-dibromo-5,5-dimethylhydantoin (DBDMH) as oxidant is developed. One-step conversion of benzyl alcohols to methyl benzoates in methanol at room temperature for 12 hours is achieved without any catalysts. Moreover, para-substituted benzyl alcohols are obtained in 86–98% yield. When dichloromethane is used as solvent, further oxidation of benzaldehydes to esters is well controlled, selectively affording benzaldehydes in 89–99% yield within 30 minutes.

[Supplementary materials are available for this article. Hierarchical Distributed Control Strategy for Electric Vehicle Mobile Energy Storage Clusters

    No full text
The stability problem of the power system becomes increasingly important for the penetration of renewable energy resources (RESs). The inclusion of electric vehicles (EVs) in a power system can not only promote the consumption of RESs, but also provide energy for the power grid if necessary. As a mobile energy storage unit (MESU), EVs should pay more attention to the service life of their batteries during operation. A hierarchical distributed control strategy was proposed in this paper for mobile energy storage clusters (MESCs) considering the life loss of each EV’s battery. This strategy was divided into a two-layer control structure. Firstly, numerous EVs were divided into different clusters according to their regional relationships. The lower layer adopted a distributed collaborative control approach for allocating energy among EVs in the cluster. Under this condition, an aggregate EVs response model was established and the characteristic of the MESC was analyzed. Secondly, the upper layer applied the multi-agent consensus algorithm to achieve the optimal allocation among different clusters. Therefore, the control strategy realized the two-way communication of energy between EVs and the power grid, and ensured the optimal economical dispatch for the mobile energy storage system (MESS). Finally, the simulation of testing examples verified the effectiveness of the proposed strategy
